This Juice Cube is Definitely Worth the Squeeze…
Let’s be honest. The main thing that most people are sceptical over when buying a mobile phone is around the battery life. And while all the big players in the industry have made leaps forward in recent years, we have all found ourselves miles away from a power socket, watching the countdown of battery life until the inevitable “Critical Battery Life!” message flashes across the screen.
Enter the Juice Cube
, a portable charging solution that provides emergency power for most handsets and portable gaming consoles. The Juice Cube itself is is charged using the supplied Mini USB connection, and includes more connectors for iPhone, Samsung, and Nokia, as well as the standard micro USB connector used for charging the latest smartphones. A nice gimmick is the power indicator; 4 lights on the back of the cube show how much “juice” is left when it’s shaken. The Juice Cube is also available in a range of different colours to suit your style, including, red, yellow, green, blue, orange, pink, cyan and magenta.
Gusto Telecom Solutions
released the Juice Cube in April 2013, along with the Juice Sound Square (pictured right), as part of a range of emergency and portable solutions for smartphone users. “Most people don’t have an emergency power product so there is a big opportunity to put that right.”, says Gusto Managing Director, Joe Bennett. “Making emergency power work in the market is about making it appealing so the Cube is a step in the right direction.”
Juice products have already been ranged in a number UK outlets, such as John Lewis, and the Juice Cube is currently available in Carphone Warehouse retail stores in Ireland for €29.99. Judging by it’s popularity with consumers, Bennett suggests more innovations are to come from Gusto. “Juice has achieved phenomenal success, selling thousands across the UK and Ireland. This is the first evolution of the brand and there will be many more evolutions to come.”
